Terms & Conditions

Please read the information below carefully. Every booking made through https://www.bbiltd.com (the “Website”), or by registration form, email, or WhatsApp, for a public course, in-house program, self-paced learning course, certified course, CFE exam review, webinar, or other event (collectively, “Courses”) offered by British Business Intelligence (Pvt) Ltd (“BBI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is subject to these Terms & Conditions. By registering for a Course, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Payment Terms

Payment is due in full at the time of registration, unless a different payment schedule has been agreed with BBI in writing. Your registration is not confirmed, and your place on a Course is not guaranteed, until payment has been received. BBI reserves the right to refuse admission to a Course if payment has not been received prior to its start date.

2. Cancellation, Postponement and Substitution Policy

You may substitute delegates at any time by providing reasonable advance notice to BBI in writing, at no additional charge.

For any cancellations received in writing not less than eight (8) days prior to the start of the Course, you will receive a 90% credit to be used toward another BBI course, which must be used within one year from the date of issuance of that credit. An administration fee of 10% of the course fee will be retained by BBI for all permitted cancellations.

No credit will be issued for cancellations received within seven (7) days (inclusive) of the Course start date, or for delegates who fail to attend without prior written cancellation.

In the event that BBI cancels a Course for any reason, you will receive a credit for 100% of the fee paid, to be used toward another BBI course to be mutually agreed, within one year from the date of cancellation.

In the event that BBI postpones a Course for any reason and you are unable or unwilling to attend on the rescheduled date, you will receive a credit for 100% of the fee paid, to be used toward another BBI course to be mutually agreed, within one year from the date of postponement.

Except as specified above, no credits will be issued for cancellations, and there are no cash refunds under any circumstances. BBI is not responsible for any loss or damage – including travel, visa, or accommodation costs – arising from a substitution, alteration, cancellation, or postponement of a Course.

BBI shall assume no liability whatsoever if a Course is cancelled, rescheduled, or postponed due to a fortuitous event, act of God, or any other unforeseen occurrence that renders performance of the Course impracticable, illegal, or impossible. A fortuitous event includes, but is not limited to, war, fire, labour strike, extreme weather, or other emergency.

3. Speakers, Trainers and Content

While trainers and course content are confirmed at the time of publishing, circumstances beyond BBI’s control may require substitutions, alterations, or cancellations of trainers and/or topics. BBI reserves the right to alter or modify advertised trainers and/or content where necessary, without liability to you. Any such changes will be updated on the Website as soon as reasonably possible. Where a Course is delivered jointly with or accredited by a partner – including the Association of Governance, Risk and Compliance (AGRC) or Open Thinking Academy – that partner’s own terms and certification requirements may also apply and will be communicated to you at the time of registration.

4. Discounts

All ‘Early Bird’ and other discounts (including team/group discounts) require full payment at the time of registration and before any applicable cut-off date in order to apply. Discount offers cannot be combined with any other offer.

5. Conduct at Courses and Events

Delegates attend BBI Courses to participate in the activities we organize and to interact with other attendees through those activities. Using a BBI Course as a platform to promote a competing course or event is not permitted; delegates may not distribute or promote materials relating to competing events, nor approach BBI’s trainers or partners with a view to participation in such an event. Delegates are also prohibited from organizing or hosting their own promotional or business-development side activities within a Course (such as separate dinners or distribution of promotional materials) unless specifically agreed with BBI in writing. BBI will be the arbiter of what constitutes a competing event. Failure to observe this clause will result in removal from the Course without any entitlement to a refund, credit, or reimbursement of incurred expenses.

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials, presentations, recordings, and workbooks provided during or in connection with a Course, as well as all content on the Website, are the intellectual property of BBI, its trainers, or its licensors. Materials are provided for the registered participant’s personal learning use only and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, resold, or used to deliver training to others without BBI’s prior written consent.

11. Amendments
