Cancellation & Credit Policy

This Cancellation & Credit Policy applies to all registrations for public courses, in-house/on-demand programs, self-paced learning, certified courses, CFE exam review, and webinars offered by British Business Intelligence (Pvt) Ltd (“BBI”) through https://www.bbiltd.com or by direct registration, and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions. In line with standard practice among B2B training and conference providers, BBI operates a credit-based cancellation policy rather than cash refunds.

1. Substitutions

You may substitute another delegate from your organization at any time, at no additional charge, by providing reasonable advance written notice to BBI. Any difference in applicable fees (for example, member vs. non-member rates) will be settled at the time of substitution.

2. Cancellations by the Participant

Cancellations received in writing not less than eight (8) days before the Course start date: you will receive a 90% credit toward another BBI course, valid for one year from the date of issuance. A 10% administration fee of the course fee is retained by BBI.
Cancellations received within seven (7) days (inclusive) of the Course start date, or a no-show: no credit will be issued.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to ehsan@bbiltd.com. There are no cash refunds under any circumstances – all permitted cancellations are issued as a credit note redeemable against a future BBI course.

3. Redeeming a Credit

Credits issued under this Policy must be used toward another BBI public course, in-house program, or certified course of equal or lesser value, to be mutually agreed with BBI, within one year of the date of issuance. Credits are not transferable to another organization and have no cash value.

4. Certified Courses and Exam Fees

For certified courses delivered with our accreditation partners (including AGRC certifications and CFE/ACFE-related exam preparation), exam registration and certification fees are, once submitted to the relevant partner or examining body, governed by that partner’s own cancellation and refund policies, which will be communicated to you at the time of registration and will take precedence over Section 2 for that portion of the fee.

5. Cancellation or Postponement by BBI

If BBI cancels a Course for any reason, you will receive a 100% credit of the fee paid, to be used toward another BBI course to be mutually agreed, within one year from the date of cancellation.

If BBI postpones a Course for any reason and you are unable or unwilling to attend on the rescheduled date, you will receive a 100% credit of the fee paid, to be used toward another BBI course to be mutually agreed, within one year from the date of postponement.

Except as specified in this Policy, no credits or refunds will be issued for cancellations. BBI is not responsible for any indirect costs – such as travel, visas, or accommodation – that a participant may incur as a result of a substitution, alteration, cancellation, or postponement.

6. Force Majeure

BBI assumes no liability if a Course is cancelled, rescheduled, or postponed due to a fortuitous event, act of God, or other unforeseen occurrence that renders performance of the Course impracticable, illegal, or impossible – including but not limited to war, fire, labour strike, extreme weather, or other emergency.

7. In-House and Custom Programs

Cancellation and credit terms for in-house or custom-delivered programs are set out in the specific proposal or agreement signed with the client organization, and will govern in place of this Policy for that engagement.

8. How to Request a Cancellation or Substitution

9. Changes to This Policy

BBI reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. The version published on the Website at the time of your registration will apply to that registration, and any amendments will be posted here with a revised effective date.
